There’s actually too much to say on this topic for one blog post. Long story short: I was supposed to be in Birmingham, England, for a full year to complete my Master’s degree in social media. I landed across the pond on March 28th, and landed right back in Baltimore on April 29th. Homesickness got the best of me.
The month there wasn’t terrible in any sense. I met some incredible people, had some intense discussions, and went on a few adventures that ranged from fun to full out fiascos. I’ll take the time soon to write about my favorite moments.
For now, I’m trying to hit the ground running back at home. I’m starting an internship on the 16th, and attempting to pack the rest of my schedule with a part-time job, dance classes, volunteering at an animal shelter, and quality time with my boyfriend and best friends. I’m just trying to discover what makes me happiest, and make sure that there is an abundance of it in my life. I’m also trying not to go absolutely insane living with my parents again.
While Birmingham was supposed to be my big overseas adventure, I know there are still plenty of experiences to be had here in my own neighborhood. Stay tuned…
